I’m Ess. A traveler, a planner, storyteller, and founder of On The Go Explorers– a part travel blog, part community, and most sometimes, a group of strangers sharing in experiences within Africa and beyond. 

I started this blog (again) to share not just the places I’ve been, but the moments that make travel feel human: the hectic planning experiences, missed flights, the shared meals, and the encounters that change something inside you. Basically, my practical guides and timeless reflections around the world.

For six years (as I start this blog, again..), my adventurous spirit has never wavered. It’s been a journey of a million little do-overs, detours, and redirections, but courage has carried me through, every single time.
