3 Days 2 Nights- Samburu

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING

The following Terms & Conditions apply to all travellers participating in the Samburu Group Trip acknowledge that you meet the minimum age required for this trip.

1. Eligibility

• • This trip is kid-friendly, with a minimum participation age of 8 years old.

  • All travellers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • The accompanying parent/guardian is fully responsible for the child’s safety, supervision, behavior, and well-being throughout the trip, including during transfers, game drives, meals, and time spent at the lodge/camp.

  • OTGE and its partners will not assume responsibility for childcare, supervision, or incidents arising from a child’s behaviour or lack of supervision.

2. Group Quorum (Minimum Participants)

• A minimum of 6 confirmed travellers is required for the trip to run with a host accompanying the group.

• If the minimum number is not met by April 1st 2026, OTGE reserves the right to:

  • Offer the trip as unhosted (self-guided with local guides),

  • Reschedule the trip to a later date,

  • Or cancel the trip and issue refunds according to the cancellation policy.

• Travellers will be notified immediately once quorum is determined and a WhatsApp group will be formed for communication purposes.

3. Payment Terms

• A non-refundable deposit of 10,000/-  is required to secure your spot.

• The balance must be paid by 10th April 2026. Failure to complete payment may result in automatic cancellation of your booking with no refund of the deposit.

• Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in park fees, fuel costs, or third-party supplier rates. OTGE will notify travellers of any adjustments.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Traveler-initiated cancellation:

• Deposit is non-refundable.

• Cancellations 30+ days before departure: 50% of the balance is refundable.

• Cancellations 14–29 days before departure: 25% refund of the balance.

• Cancellations 0–13 days before departure: No refund.

Supplier Payments Clause (Applies Regardless of OTGE’s Refund Policy)

Once OTGE has made payments to third-party suppliers, including but not limited to lodges, camps, park authorities, transportation providers, and activity operators- their individual cancellation, amendment, and refund policies will take full precedence, regardless of OTGE’s own refund terms.

In such situations:

• Refunds (if any) will strictly follow the supplier’s terms.

• OTGE will not be held responsible for non-refundable amounts, penalties, or partial refunds imposed by suppliers.

• Travellers will be notified when supplier payments have been made, so they are aware when this clause becomes active.

OTGE-initiated cancellation:

• If OTGE cancels due to quorum not being met or unforeseen operational reasons, travelers will be offered:

  • A full refund,

  • Or transfer to another departure date.

• OTGE is not responsible for any additional costs incurred (e.g., flights, personal expenses)

5. Itinerary & Activity Modifications

• OTGE may modify the itinerary due to weather, road conditions, wildlife activity, or safety concerns.

• Such adjustments will not be considered grounds for refunds.

• Game drives and activities depend on park regulations and environmental conditions.

6. Traveler Responsibilities

• Travellers must ensure they are fit to travel and participate in game drives.

• Respect for wildlife, local communities, and fellow travelers is mandatory.

• Travellers must follow instructions given by the host, guides, and drivers for safety reasons.

7. Accommodation & Rooming

• Accommodation is provided on sharing basis

• Room sharing for solo travelers may be arranged depending on availability; otherwise, a single-room supplement applies.

• Room and bed types cannot be guaranteed, as they are subject to availability.

• Check-in/check-out times are determined by the accommodation provider

• We do our best to meet preferences, but some variables may be outside our control.

8. Transport & Delays

• Transport will depart on time. Travelers arriving late may be left behind with no refunds.

• OTGE is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or mechanical issues, though alternative arrangements will be made where possible.

9. Liability

• OTGE is not responsible for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal items,

  • Injury or illness during the trip,

  • Acts of nature, or actions of third-party service providers.

• Travellers participate at their own risk and are strongly encouraged to have personal travel/medical insurance.

10. Use of Photos & Videos

• By joining the trip, travellers consent to OTGE capturing photos/videos for marketing purposes unless written notice is given before the trip begins.

11. Code of Conduct

• OTGE maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, disrespectful behaviour, excessive intoxication, violence or threatening behaviour.

• Violation will result in removal from the trip without refunds.

12. Agreement

By paying the deposit and securing your spot, you acknowledge that you have read, fully understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
